British yachtswoman Abby Ehler is a veteran of three previous editions of The Ocean Race: 2001-02 with the all-women crew of Amer Sports Too (NZL), 2014-15 with the all-women Swedish entry Team SCA, and 2017-18 with the Netherlands entry Team Brunel.
As well as winning both the Fastnet and Middle Sea races in 2003 aboard the 76-foot Reichel/Pugh designed ‘turbo sled’ Nokia Ehler is a familiar face on the grand prix 52 Super Series and Swan 50 regatta circuits.
Off the water she has worked extensively in shore side logistical and technical roles with the America’s Cup and SailGP.
