British navigator Will Harris began his sailing career racing a range of Olympic class dinghies before turning his attention to the short-handed offshore racing scene.

He spent six years racing in France where he twice competed in the fiercely competitive La Solitaire du Figaro solo multistage race in which he was crowned ‘best rookie’ in 2016.

In The Ocean Race 2017-18 edition Harris was a member of the Race Experts team who tracked the fleet around the world from the race’s high-tech race control centre in Alicante, Spain.

In 2019 he and Boris Herrmann raced aboard Malizia - Yacht Club De Monaco in the doublehanded Transat Jacques Vabre transatlantic race.

In 2021 Harris raced to third place in the VO65 division of the inaugural edition of The Ocean Race Europe as navigator aboard the Netherlands entry AkzoNobel Ocean Racing.
