Maiden tells the inspiring story of Tracy Edwards, who went from being a cook on charter boats to becoming the skipper of the first female crew to compete in the Whitbread Round the World Race in 1989. 

After the screening, Amalia Infante will take us on board the legendary yacht's historic second round the world race. As cameraman and crew member, she will tell us about her experience, the challenges of the voyage and the incredible story of a team of women who broke barriers in the world of sailing.
