Born in a family of sailors, Nicolas entered the sailing world at an early age. In parallel with his studies in management and administration, he successfully competed in a series of regattas in France and abroad. 

Nicolas’ passion for offshore racing took off with his first participation in the Solitaire du Figaro in 2007. Known for his sharp meteorological and strategic expertise he soon made a name for himself in the international offshore racing scene. Over the years, his commitment and talent have earned him numerous accolades - including two victories in the Solitaire du Figaro (2009 & 2017). Most recently, Nicolas achieved an impressive 6th place in his first ever Vendée Globe (2024) aboard Holcim-PRB, solidifying his reputation among the elite in ocean racing.
