7. Team Amaala - 9 points
1503 local time: The Boka Bay Coastal Race results:
1. Biotherm
2. Paprec Arkéa
3. Team Holcim PRB
4. Team Malizia
5. Be Water Positive
6. Allagrande Mapei Racing
7. Team Amaala
1500 local time: And Scott Shawyer's Be Water Positive team is fifth on the day, sixth overall in The Ocean Race Europe. Allagrande Mapei Racing and Team Amaala will complete the fleet crossing the finishing line today.
1456 local time: Team Malizia do what they need to do to grab fourth place on the day and secure fourth place overall in The Ocean Race Europe.
1454 local time: And it is Yoann Richomme and Paprec Arkea claiming second in the coastal race and second overall in The Ocean Race Europe over Rosalin Kuiper's Team Holcim PRB in third.
1452 local time: As they round the final mark before the finish line, it's Biotherm leading Paprec Arkea around. Paul Meilhat and his team putting their stamp on the Boka Bay Coastal Race just as they have on the entire The Ocean Race Europe. Another brilliant win for the team!!!
1440 local time: It's not over yet... Paul Meilhat's Biotherm has used the inside lane to grab the lead from Yoann Richomme's Paprec Arkea while Holcim PRB have also moved up a place to sit in third... they are still pushing to grab second place.
1433 local time: The fleet is stretching out and it's more stable now - Paprec Arkea looking very strong at the front of the fleet and if this holds, they will claim second place overall in The Ocean Race Europe. Just behind is Biotherm, the overall race winner. Then Malizia has moved up to third (which will secure them fourth overall !!) ahead of Team Holcim PRB and Allagrande Mapei Racing.... Canada Ocean Racing and Team Amaala, as on the overall leaderboard, are settled in sixth and seventh place.
1429 local time: The squeeze is on... it's a very short upwind to mark 4 and both Biotherm and Team Holcim PRB tried to squeeze up inside Paprec Arkea... but Paprec skipper Yoann Richomme has sailed brilliantly and pushed up, close to the wind, to maintain his advantage as he tacks for mark 4...
1422 local time: OK... it's settling down a bit now. Paprec Arkea are stretching just slightly at the front of the fleet as they approach mark three on this rectangular course. Biotherm is only two lengths behind but Team Holcim PRB are trying to hold on a further 5-6 lengths back.
Then it's Malizia, ahead of Allagrande Mapei Racing, the Canadian Team and Amaala.
1417 local time: Stop me if you've heard this one before but Biotherm has made a charge on the inside and is now up to second with Paprec Arkea leading around mark two and Holcim PRB with speed in thrid place just behind Biotherm.
1415 local time: The gybe by Team Holcim PRB is slow... this could be decisive with the fleet taking up position inside Holcim. This will hurt.
1413 local time: This is what we hoped to see - a great match at the front of the fleet with Paprec Arkea taking the inside lane at the first mark.
1410 local time: A good start by Malizia to windward while Holcim PRB and Paprec Arkea are very close together, slight advantage to the Holcim crew.
1400 local time: Remember this race is for second place between Holcim PRB and Paprec Arkea while fourth place is between Team Malizia and Allagrande Mapei Racing...
1350 local time: 20 minutes to the race start and we have a 7-10 knot westerly breeze... enoght for a good race. But probably below what is needed for foiling.
1315 local time: The last sailor's parade and dockout for The Ocean Race Europe 2025 is complete and the teams are preparing for the last race of the event.
1045 local time: The forecast for the afternoon is improving - 6 to 9 knot westerly. It's enough for good racing, but probably too light for foiling.
1030 local time: Team Holcim PRB Nico Lunven was circumspect this morning about his team's strategy in the crucial battle for second place... "I'm not sharing our tactics before the race," he said with a laugh.
0830 local time: Racing gets underway at 1410 local (1210 UTC) today, with the warning signal at 1405. It's a spectacular morning here in Boka Bay (again!!) with bright sunshine. The breeze is likely to be light, but hopefully enough for good racing. We'll have a more detailed forecast later this morning.
